Most of the year, the weather is hot and humid, but the island actually goes through three distinct seasons- dry hot and rainy. In the rainy season, there is likely to be heavy rain for at least a short period every day, and it can often rain almost nonstop for days at a time. In most places, there is little problem with flooding, due to the topography of the island, but it is always good to be in an elevated abode during rainy seasons. You can request a villa that is off the ground and less likely to experience flooding when you book with us.

The best time to travel is between August and December, when the island is at its coolest. It’s never cold there, and you likely won’t need to take more than a light jacket, if that, even at night. It’s a good idea to take note of the weather forecast before you pack for your trip there, but you should also be prepared for unexpected weather patterns by packing a raincoat and an umbrella.

If you know what kind of weather suits you best, then plan your time on the island accordingly. You can pick which koh samui villa rent you want to visit in and ensure that youexperience weather that suits you.
